Please allow me to share with you the following notification to inform the City Commission of a request for construction staging and parking for construction equipment for the A-13 sewer Redirection. This notification serves as the start of the 30-day Commission Request for Review period, which ends on Jan 8TH, 2020. More information:
The Administrative Review Committee reviewed this request on December 5, 2019. This request is solely for construction materials, equipment and employee vehicular parking. No other construction activity will be performed on site. All members of the committee signed off subject to meeting the requirements of Section 47-19.2. GG of the Unified Land Development Regulations (ULDR). The construction project is estimated to be completed by December, 1, 2020.
In order to comply with Section 47-26.A.2 of the ULDR, City Commission Request for Review, the City Commission must notify the department of its intent to call the item, which must be heard by the City Commission prior to the end of the 30 day period. A motion to set a hearing to review the decision by the lower body shall then be considered, which could take place on the following City Commission meeting dates: December 17, 2019 and January 7, 2020.
If the City Commission would like to review the application, please provide a statement of intent via e-mail to Jeff Modarelli, City Clerk, and copy Chris Lagerbloom, City Manager; Alain Boileau, City Attorney; Anthony Fajardo, Director, Department of Sustainable Development. If the City Commission does not intend to review the application, notification of such prior to the end of the 30-day period is requested so that the applicant can proceed with the permitting process in a timely manner.
