0700 10-8 called in detail.I patrolled all of the mainland and many away homes. I checked by parks no issues .
0800 I checked all the isles away homes and through LYC.

1315: In service. 3 spam calls, 1 voicemail, no texts, no emails. Reviewed activity log and began
roving. VM advised of a ‘crazy’ female honking her horn - because there was no Rio officer on duty, the reportee phoned the non-emergency number for assistance.
1400: Had text dialogue with above reportee about situation - non-emergency never
answered and the female eventually stopped honking the horn.
1445-1530: Stoodby at BCS during dismissal.
1600: Helped decorate Rio golf cart for halloween festivities.
1715: Out of service.
Monday Oct 31 Halloween Event 🎃
1500-
Started set up / both lights brought to parks for night fall. Golf cart brought and decorated to start patrols .
Started patrolling early all the littles out trick or treating . Neighborhood started getting super busy around 1900hrs
Kept patrolling area
Started receiving calls
Call received reference large group at 1600 block of 9th street and pillow taken headed to isles broke up very large group at end of isle around 1700 block a party all kids headed back west to mainland called resident back after and advised .
Received another call large party at house headed to house found large teenage party broke up party spoke with parents regarding all the issues . Spoke with several residents outside .
Continued patrols observed teen carrying a bench made contact he brought bench back to home it belonged too.
Received another call ref possible disturbance on Ponce and 6th headed to that area kids dispersing .
Continued patrols all groups starting to disperse and head home around 10pm . Headed to park to clear all the kids out at 1015pm cleared park advised all closed cleared park made sure all kids had ride home two couldn’t find a ride officer Hayes drive them home all other kids had parents and Uber arriving . Lights all shut off parks empty and golf cart loaded up for station Neighborhood pretty much cleared received last call at 1045pm ref two kids being loud at 7th street after that neighborhood seemed back quiet no true issues another successful Halloween .. 🎃👻

appears as though its a food delivery driver at the wrong address
Voicemail: Extra patrol request at dead end of 10th ST aisle for illegally parked
vehicles, fishermen, and the mess they cause.

1645: Stepped in dog poop at vacation check- Use caution!

1730-In service. Checked missed calls and text messages. No messages received. Began patrol.
1755- Observed open garage door with 2 Range Rovers. 1 vehicle unlocked made contact with resident who secured garage and vehicle.
1840- High visibility patrol on the mainland.
1900- Received a call on the HOA phone about people fishing, parked illegally, smoking pot and trashing the area. No evidence of pot smoking or trash vehicles were moved from the no parking zone and anyone without a fishing permit left.

1818: Phone call regarding a suspicious white male in the 800 blk of
SE 6th ST wearing only a bathing suit; cursed out reporter who had her kids with her. Canvassed the area and located male but was never observed committing any crimes.
1910: Conducted well being check of the aforementioned male and discovered he is
homeless, a mental health consumer, and was lost. He was transported to Hollywood per his request by patrol; case # 22-161349.
2000: Re-checked the recently added houses and cleaned up the log.
2100: Out of service..

0720- Property check at Francis Abreau Park. Monitored for complaints of dogs in park. No violations observed.
0745- 0845 Conducted high visibility patrolling on the mainland.
0845-0922 Conducted high visibility patrolling on the isles.
0922- Responded to a call for construction on the property to the rear on Sunday. Responded to construction site workers left prior to my arrival. Case 151275.
0940- Property check at Lauderdale Yacht Club.
1000- End Shift.
Monday August 22nd, 2022
1600: In service. One missed voicemail, no texts, and reviewed old emails. Voicemail
from yesterday is regarding people walking onto complainants dock
the people are at the vacation rental next door - will follow-up after I complete out of town checks.
1745: While doing prop check, found the rear, SE corner slider
unsecure. Made contact with homeowner via phone whom advised it was most likely his son who is constantly in/out via his boat - owner did not want me to go inside and check the interior but, everything looked fine visually. Son will be reprimanded.
1800: Out of town checks complete. Called reportee back for
vacation rental issue; no answer and unable to leave a voicemail. Sent her a text message advising such and the information on how to report vacation rental violations to the city.
1900: Non-stop roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, BCS, and Fed Hwy.
2000: Above returned my phone call and we had about a 20 minute conversation about
her situation; was provided a bunch of useful information and she was very
appreciative.
2100: Out of service.

0720- Per voicemail request Conducted a property check request. Made telephone contact with resident who advised packages were picked up by a friend.
0734- Called in reference to video images of package thefts. Phone rang to voicemail and is not set up to receive messages.
0750- Responded to follow up on a text message about a package theft. Attempted to make contact with reporting party by phone received voicemail. Left a voice message to contact me if assistance is needed.
0800- high visibility patrol on the isles.
0840- followed up on a voicemail in reference to a call about a homeless male in the area.
0900- Gassed and washed HOA vehicle.

1400: In service, detail phoned into Hudson line. There was no new emails or texts but,
one missed phone call requesting an out of town check but, no dates provided. Checked member list and did not find her name or address as a protect Rio member - called her back and left a voicemail. Reviewed activity log and began roving patrol.
Of note, delayed vehicle burglary of equipment off of truck in the 1400 blk of Ponce from 1325 hours - driver left and requested phone report. 22-143136.
1512: called back asking for out-of-town checks of her residence; will
confirm membership and add to out of town log - need to send an updated
member copy for google drive doc’s.
1600: Had a text dialogue in reference to his missed phone call from
yesterday; Prendergast’s notes advise he was trying to get some video
surveillance of a package theft - neighbor may have video. However, I did some research and did not find any theft/burglary reports for Rio for the past two days…doesn't seem like the victim made an official report to upload any video evidence to? resident did not reply to any further texts to clarify…
1700: Non-stop roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, BCS, and Fed Hwy.
1800: Still roving - lots of pedestrians out and about.
