1005- Began out of town house checks.
1005- Resident called in reference to a red P/U parked on bridge, upon
My arrival the truck was GOA. I returned phone call. Two fisherman present with permits.
1025- Observed an open rear hatch of a Mercedes Benz, with plenty of gift bags clearly visible. Made contact with homeowner who stated she accidentally left trunk open
And was extremely thankfull for the check.
1045- Patrolled Isles, Lyc.
1115- Patrolled behind businesses along Federal Hwy.
1150- Conducted several property checks, on the vacant homes. All appear to be secure.
1220- Patrolled parks, not much activity (school day).
1245- Final patrol all areas.
1730 Patrolled isles and Cordova area.
1830 Patrolled SE 9 Ave and access points into neighborhood along Federal.
1930 Raining, continued patrol along west side of neighborhood.
2030 Completed checks of Ponce and Rio Vista Blvds, 10-7

0830 Completed vacation checks
0845 Flagged down ref. burglary Auto. Car was left open and a wallet was taken. Loss is wallet, misc. cards and a social security card.
1700 Returned call regarding someone getting into her car last night. She stated that she would call me back.
1815 Investigated group fishing on 7 St bridge. Removed fishermen for no fishing licese.
1940 Stopped vehicle with loud music and driver no seat belt on SE 9 Ave. He was wearing no shirt, had narcotics memorabilia. Did not consent to search and had prior 57 charge. Narcotics k-9 checked vehicle with negative results. Citation issued for seat belt.
2045 Stopped vehicle for running red light at SE 9 ST. Warning given.

1445 – Begin house checks and patrol mainland / area parks.
1545 – Observed vehicle driving reckless through store lot at 7th and Federal. Stop was made and driver had an expired license since 2006! Criminal charges issued for the expired DL as well as the reckless driving.
1615 – Begin Isles patrols and remaining house checks.
1720 – Patrol Federal area.
1800 – Continue mainland patrols.

1110- House checks complete, all secure.
1120- Patrolled Isles, LYC.,
1125- Contact was made with 2 w/m fishing off of SE 7th St bridge, without permits, both left upon my request.
1208- Property check SE 6th ct, vacant property. All screen doors and windows secure.
1221- Contact was made with a w/m stated he was handing out fliers for 110 fitness located at 110 SE 6th St. He did not have a permit and left the area with out incident.
1240- Final patrol all areas.
1300- Due to poor weather conditions it was a quiet day, 10-7

1030- Dispatched to residence in reference to audible alarm. Upon my arrival I conducted a property check which revealed all doors/windows and screens to be secure. Contact was made directly with owner who has been advised of the alarm. 98 MI on a 68 11-111975.

1130- Patrolled behind businesses along Federal Hwy. no unusual activity to report.
1150- Patrolled Isles, LYC, Rio Vista mainland, and parks.
1215- Traffic stop conducted 800 block SE 9th St. reference could not see tag due to cargo.
Contact was made with driver who was delivering furniture which was confirmed by homeowner. No citation issued.
1226- Observed open car door. Made contact with owner who advised she was just bringing in some belongings.
1235- Final patrol all areas.

1005- Began out of town house checks.
1100- Contact was made resident who wanted to bring to our attention a vehicle driving reckless on 9/3/11 in the Rio Vista area. She followed the vehicle to nearby residence. Vehicle described is driven by young kids. Contact was made with homeowner who asked his son about the incident who stated it was his friend driving. Homeowner apologized and will speak with son’s friend about the incident.
1125- House checks complete.
1140- Patrolled behind business along Federal Hwy., with no unusual activity to report.
1155- Patrolled Rio Vista mainland, Isles, and LYC..LYC is still packed with kids attending a camping event which will end later today.
1215- Traffic stop conducted 701 SE 7th St. on blue Mazda pickup Fl tag ref. equipment. Warning given.
2000 Patrolled Cordova area and monitored traffic entering the neighborhood from the south and SE 11 Ct/St.

10:30- Arrived, began patrol in unmarked.
11:15 Obtained pool marked car from Ofc. Gestral – called Mr. Weber
1200 Completed patrol of Isles & LYC
1300 Completed patrol of main neighborhood
1315 Stop sign enforcement at SE 11 St / Cordova 10-50 T18OVZ Warning
1400 Encountered delusional white female. Baker Act at 1135 S. Federal (Case#11-95404)
1445 Resumed patrol. Parks, school zone and main corridors.
1545 Concluded patrol and began driving pool car back to station.
1800 Patrolled SE 9 Ave, checked animal hospital and access points along Federal.
1900 Checked all the isles and Cordova area.
2000 Monitored traffic along Federal Highway access points and circulated the area.
2100 Stopped a champagne colored Toyota Camery (FL ARR-B84). Subject appeared to be lost and was stopped. He indicated he was not from the area and was text by individuals arriving in a boat to meet him along the canal at Cordova and SE 9 St. Text on phone confirm story. Boat was observed docking just south of 9 St. He was released.
2200 Stopped a white Toyota Tundra pickup (4dr) leaving the neighborhood similar to the one observed on video from the wheel theft on SE 7 St. Turned out to be a RV resident.

0930- Bulk trash time, stepped out with several vehicles/persons looking for treasures.
1000- Patrolled Rio mainland and once again behind businesses along Federal Hwy.
1015- Property check. This vacant house still has many unsecured doors, and may
Turn into a s-86 haven. Contact was again made with real estate agent in reference to the unlocked doors.
1051- observed black male subject riding un-registered bicycle at SE 9Ave/SE 6st. No warrants, homeless. Warning given
1100-1230- drove around the area.
1245- flagged down by a Rio Vista resident reference traffic light not operating correctly at SE 9st/Fed. Hwy. Traffic engineering was notified via dispatch
1300-1530- drove down Isles, checked areas around S. Federal Hwy.
1535- Conducted a traffic stop at SE 9th St reference expired tag. The driver had an expired license and an active warrant. Driver arrested case 11-89949. Warrant was for Driving While license suspended. He received two citations for DL expired > 4months or more and tag expired 12/10.
1800 Tonight is bulk trash day, man trucks roaming the neighborhood to search for discarded valuables. All tags run through teletype and license checks run against all owners to ensure valid DL’s.
1900 Stopped several vehicles and spoke with drivers. Agreed not to cite them for equipment violations should they choose to leave the area. All have taken the offer.
2000 Putting lots of miles on the car tonight. Continued records checks of vehicles.
2100 Checked all of the isles.
2200 Circulated all areas west of isles.

1445 - Begin patrols of Isles, Cordova, and LYC.
1515 – Located a vagrant passed out in the grass behind the funeral home. He was intoxicated and needed medical attention. Fire responded and transported h9im to BGH.
1530 – Patrol mainland, area parks, and gazebo.
1600 – Located a w/m pushing a grocery cart and holding a long saw. He was cutting coconuts from trees. He was clear of any wants/warrants and was escorted from the neighborhood.
1715 – Vacation checks completed during patrols.
1730 – Patrol Federal highway areas.
1800 – Return to mainland patrols.

0750-House checks complete, all secure.
0751-Responded to alarm. Upon my arrival call cancelled proper code given.
I made contact with the workers who hit wrong number, all 10-4.
0800-Began patrol of LYC., Isles, Rio Vista mainland and parks.
0845-Patrolled behind businesses along Federal Hwy. No unusual activity to report.
0915-Stepped out with two unmarked box/utility truck with no business markings. Contact was made with homeowner who confirmed their presence and work.
0940-Final patrol of all areas. A lot of early morning foot traffic.
1800 Contacted by the owners of residence. They advise that someone recently stole their keys and an item that would identify their home location. They are concerned since the home is awaiting renovation, is unoccupied but being used to store all their belongings. The house is already on the log but wanted officers to know of the recent development.
1900 Called by resident. She called regarding a disturbance between her and the owners of another residence. Advised she was walking her mother’s dog when the dog located at other residence charged toward them in an aggressive manner. She exchanged heated words with the owner. I contacted the property owner who advised her dog was a puppy and became excited when playing fetch and saw the other dog. The dog did not exhibit any aggressive behavior and insisted I threw his tennis ball a couple times during my visit. I did however point out that it was her dog that was unleashed and her responsibility to keep it from contained.
