0700-In service. Checked missed calls and text messages. Reviewed activity log and began roving patrol.
0720- Per voicemail request Conducted a property check request. Made telephone contact with resident who advised packages were picked up by a friend.
0734- Called in reference to video images of package thefts. Phone rang to voicemail and is not set up to receive messages.
0750- Responded to follow up on a text message about a package theft. Attempted to make contact with reporting party by phone received voicemail. Left a voice message to contact me if assistance is needed.
0800- high visibility patrol on the isles.
0840- followed up on a voicemail in reference to a call about a homeless male in the area.
0900- Gassed and washed HOA vehicle.

Monday August 8 2022
0500 10-8 called in detail. voicemails from Thursday added a late vacation check to list. I then Started patrolling the area. I checked through LYC. I patrolled the isles all quiet. I checked all away homes.
0600 I patrolled all of the neighborhood and many away homes. I checked by parks no issues .
0700 I continued patrols I checked by parks and then checked along fed Hwy tunnel closed down for the week
0800 10-7
1400: In service, detail phoned into Hudson line. There was no new emails or texts but,
one missed phone call requesting an out of town check but, no dates provided. Checked member list and did not find her name or address as a protect Rio member - called her back and left a voicemail. Reviewed activity log and began roving patrol.
Of note, delayed vehicle burglary of equipment off of truck in the 1400 blk of Ponce from 1325 hours - driver left and requested phone report. 22-143136.
1512: called back asking for out-of-town checks of her residence; will
confirm membership and add to out of town log - need to send an updated
member copy for google drive doc’s.
1600: Had a text dialogue in reference to his missed phone call from
yesterday; Prendergast’s notes advise he was trying to get some video
surveillance of a package theft - neighbor may have video. However, I did some research and did not find any theft/burglary reports for Rio for the past two days…doesn't seem like the victim made an official report to upload any video evidence to? resident did not reply to any further texts to clarify…
1700: Non-stop roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, BCS, and Fed Hwy.
1800: Still roving - lots of pedestrians out and about.
1900: All secure.
2000: Out of service.
Tuesday August 9 2022
0400 10-8 called in detail. I then Started patrolling the area. I checked through LYC. I patrolled the isles all quiet. I checked all away homes.
0600 I patrolled all of the neighborhood and many away homes. I checked by parks no issues .
0700 I continued patrols I checked by parks and then checked along fed Hwy tunnel closed down for the week
0800 Continued patrols throughout HOA
0900 10-7!
1600 in service. Began continuous patrols of mainland and isles.
1700 21v attempt occurred at SE 9 th st. Suspect vehicle is a new model Merz large 4dr sedan, gray in color. 34-2208-143583. No loss. This is the second 21 attempt at the same residence. First was last week Thursday.
1800 continuous patrols of HOA all clear.
1900 check of lyc all clear. No suspicious activity observed during constant patrols.
2000 final patrols all clear. Out of service.

0900- completed all checks and a patrol of the mainland
1400- starting shift, 10-8 called in detail. no new messages, texts or voicemails.
1430- Patrolled the mainland handled a police call for service. reference abandoned vehicle, checked vehicle in NCIC no stolen and legally parked vehicle is registered to the apartments there was no apt number so no contact was made with the owner.
1530- Checked LYC all clear.

0600- starting shift, 10-8 called in detail. no new messages, 2 voicemails - #1 kids in the park with backpacks off of 10th St, #2 - a vacation check, no texts. Started patrolling the area. I checked through LYC. all clear

0920- checks completed on the mainland
1000- out of service
1600- In service, I called the detail into the Hudson line. I reviewed the activity log. Rio phone received the following messages:
1630- Received a police service call regarding a White BMW parked in front of the apartments for weeks. I observed a vehicle properly parked in front of the building in a parking space. The vehicle had a current registration and was registered out of Pompano Beach. A phone number could not be located for the owner. An anonymous person called it in. No violation. 34-2208-145647.
1700- Checked the isles and yacht club.
1730- Conducted out of town check. All secure.
1800- Patrolled the mainland and parks.
1830- Final patrolled isles and mainland.
1900- Out of service.

0900- Vacation Property Check. St open garage door. Made contact with ownerwho forgot to close door.
0915- met with residents at for a door left open to a vehicle.
0930-Vacation Property check. Card left in mailbox.

Phoned resident who advised his grandson came down for the
weekend and leaving today. He and his wife will be returning on Friday

residents returned early; rang bell and advised resident that was me around back

1000- starting shift, 10-8 called into detail. no new email, texts or voicemails. There were two missed calls and I returned both, calls were in reference to an unknown black female having some type of mental episode, call was handled by patrol prior to my shift.
1030- Station reference carwash, fuel vehicle and picking up laptop for the detail vehicle.
1100- Vacation Checks Mainland.

1300- Patrol of the Isles and mainland
1400- Check LYC all quiet.
1500- Patrol of the Isles and mainland all quiet

1400- In service, I called the detail into the Hudson line. No new messages left on the phone. I reviewed the activity log.
1430- Began out of town checks.
1550- Completed out of town checks. Moved package to the back. Received call on the Rio phone. They saw me on their ring camera and wanted to make sure everything was okay on their property. I advised I was just doing an out of town check.
1600- Checked the mainland and parks.
1630- Final patrol of isles and mainland.
1700- Out of service
Saturday, August 20
0530- In service, I called the detail into the Hudson line. No new messages left on the phone. I reviewed the activity log.
0545- Began out of town checks.
0900- completed out of town checks
1600 10-8 called in detail

1608- Returned a missed call from last night at 9:09pm- no answer
Returned second missed called from last night at 6:57pm- assisted living facility
called ref missing patient; but he returned
1612 called back to advise their alarm went off last night; they checked their cameras and didn't see anything. I checked the residence and all was secure. I will have midnights check the house, since residents are out of town
