0715 10-8 called in detail. No texts, or no new voicemails . I Started patrolling area.
0800 Checked isles and away homes on isles. I checked by Hemingway and LYC
0900 I checked mainland streets and all the away homes.. I also checked by all the parks and all along Fed Hwy.

1000: In service, detail phoned into Hudson line. There are no new emails or text messages but,
one missed call ; called back and left a voicemail to return the call.
Reviewed activity log and began out of town checks.
1045: Finished the last of the out of town checks - begin roving patrol.
1100: called back to advise of speeding contractors on the 7th ST aisle during the
evening hours; requested speed enforcement. Also, I spoke to him at length in regards to his next door neighbor which is apparently a vacation rental - explained the city’s vacation rental program and enforcement. He was very appreciative of my time and effort.
1130: Still roving throughout mainland, parks, LYC, Fed Hwy, and BCS.
1200: Out of service.
Tuesday August 24th, 2021
2100: In service, detail phoned into Hudson line. There were no new emails or text messages but,
three missed phone calls; two calls were from the same reportee had left two voicemails in regards to someone being in her yard and making a mess; she requested a call from an officer. A second voicemail from Betsy cancelled her first request after she discovered that the mess was caused by the FPL tree trimming contractors, Asplundh.
-Reviewed activity log and began drive-by checks of residences due to late hour..
2136: While driving through the LYC, a fire alarm started blaring; requested FLFR to respond.
False alarm (sprinkler system low pressure); refer to fire, case # 21-141518
2207: Backed up a Sgt on a suspicious vehicle at the Walgreens (1201 S Federal Hwy) as I was already enroute to the location to obtain a caffeinated beverage. Case # 21-141528
2300: Back in Rio, finished checks.
2350: Email from Kathy Diaz (1201 Ponce) advising she returned home and was inquiring as to
why there were no Rio cards left at the property; wanted to know if property checks were completed. Replied stating our records indicated a ‘drive-by’ check...whomever entered the check onto the log may have made a mistake…?
0000: Roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, Fed Hwy corridor.
0100: All quiet throughout Rio.
0200: Quiet and very muggy outside.
0300: Out of service.

voicemails left on phone . I Started patrolling area.
0700 Checked isles and away homes on isles. I checked by Hemingway and LYC
0800 I checked mainland streets and all the away homes.. I received call on phone regarding a
suspicious subject on 5CT , I drive over made contact a homeless subject not feeling well he was transported to BGH. I also checked by all the parks and all along Fed Hwy.

1300: Non-stop roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, Fed Hwy, and BCS
1430-1515: Stood-by for dismissal at BCS. Resumed roving.
1630: Still roving.

Friday, August 27, 2021
1000- In service, I called the detail into the Hudson line. I reviewed the activity log. No new messages left on the phone.
1030- Checked the isles and Yacht club.
1145- Received a call on the Rio phone from regarding a suspicious person next door. She immediately called me again and told me it was a guy repairing sprinklers and everything was fine.. She also told me about a previous burglary auto report she filed approximately a month ago. I gave her some crime prevention tips to help her avoid being a victim again.
1200- Patrolled the mainland and parks.
1230- Final patrol of isles and mainland.
1300- Out of service.
Saturday 28 August , 2021.

0800- Completed checks of LYC, The Hemingway and the Isles

1815: Non-stop roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, Bcs, and Fed hwy with cruise
lights on.
1915: Still roving.
2015: Flagged down by couple on golf cart advising of an abandoned vehicle that's been parked
for 3 months in the 800 block of SE 12th CT. Because it was out of Rio Vista, I provided them with the non-emergency phone number and advised what information to obtain before calling.
2115: Out of service.

0745- In service, called in detail, 1 vacation check added and 1 reported S3 from last evening, patrol responded, attempted to get a description of the culprit vehicle but no luck so far.
0845- Conducted a patrol of the Isles, LYC and bridges.
0945- Patrolled mainland, businesses and parks.
1000- Out of service
1600: In service, detail phoned into Hudson line. There are no new emails or text
messages but, one missed phone call; on callback = telemarketer. Reviewed activity log \
and began roving patrol in the rainy weather.
1615: Email received for out of town check; added to log.
1630: Returned to station on top of Covid-1’s fuel and got a quick wash; added 6.40 gallons.
1700: Non-stop roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, Bcs, and Fed hwy with cruise
lights on.
1800: Still roving.

1600- In service, I called the detail into the Hudson line. I reviewed the activity log. One new phone message, called and advised she is extending when she will be out of town. I made the change in the out of town log. Two new emails. I added the address to the out of town log.

1700- Conducted an out of town check . There was a package at the front door and I moved it to the covered back patio.
1730- Checked businesses along S. Federal Hwy.
1800- Patrolled the mainland and parks.
