Advised a Honda Crossover was speeding down the roadway and taking turns at 80mph

0630- 10-8, I left a message with Carol. There are no new voicemails, texts, or emails. I reviewed the activity log.
0700- Patrol of the business district along South Federal Highway.
0730- School bus stop patrol.
0810- Began and completed the out of town checks, all appear to be secure.
0900- Patrol of Rio mainland and parks. All quiet, inclement weather moving in.
0930- Patrol of the isles, bridges, and LYC..
0945- Final rounds.
1300: 10-8, detail called into Hudson line. There are no new emails, missed calls, or text
messages. Reviewed activity log and began roving patrol.
1400: One out of town check added to log via email.
1500: Stood by at BCS during dismissal / parent pick up.
1600: Police assist call for service. Reportee requested PD stand by while she
retrieved dog from husband apartment; retrieved w/o incident. Case #19-165663.
1700: Roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, alleyway, and Fed Hwy corridor.
1800: Still roving, no issues.
1900: Out of service.

0645- in service, 2 new checks added, detail called in, starting checks and hi-vis patrol,
0830- completed checks and high visibility patrol of the isles,
0900- completed checks and high visibility patrol of the mainland,
0906- started walking patrol 8 St - 5 Ct to Federal - N. Rio,
1006- completed walk, spoke with numerous persons, watched stop signs at 7 St and 9 Ave., no big issues,
1045- out of service
1330- In service, I called in the detail and left a message with Carol. I reviewed the activity log. One new email. I updated the vacation log. One new voice message..
1400- Patrolled isles, bridges and yacht club.
1430- Conducted out of town check. I removed a small package by the front door and placed it on the back porch.
1500- Patrolled the parks and mainland. Heavy rain, no pedestrian traffic at all.
1530- Patrolled the businesses along S. Federal Hwy.
1600- Final patrol of isles and mainland.
1630- Out of service.
1930- In service, reviewed logs. No new messages or calls on the Rio phone. Began high visibility patrols throughout the HOA. No suspicious activity seen. Significant water on Cordova due to tides and rainfall.
2045- Out of service due to VCU call out
2345- Back in service. Met with patrol units who responded to a structure fire at 10th St and Cordova during my absence. It was determined to be kids lighting firecrackers in a can, not a fire. High visibility patrols began of mainland and isles.

Tuesday. October 15, 2019
0630- 10-8, I left a message with Carol. There are no new voicemails,texts, or emails. I reviewed the activity log.
0700- Patrol of the business district along South Fed,.. No unusual activity to report.
0730- Patrol of the 11Ct alley.
0800- Began and completed the out of town checks, all appear to be secure. Upon checking 829 8St contact was made with assistant who state homeowners may be home within a week.
0900- Patrol of Isles, bridges, and LYC. Tides are rolling in.
0930- Final rounds.
1500: In service, detail called into Carol. No new emails or text messages but, three missed
phone calls. Left message for one, second was an inoperable number, and third was a follow-up to the residential burglary on Saturday (Case # 19-168041). After playing phone tag, I spoke with the neighbor who Ofc. Smith had tried to contact about surveillance cameras; resident was briefed of the situation and advised his cameras did not pick up any useful evidence.
1651: Call of a suspicious black male wearing blue sweats and a black top and briefcase in the
area of 700 NRV - advised he is a possible mental health consumer as he’s “staring as if
there’s something wrong.” Began canvassing the area.
1702: Received a second call advising of the same suspicious person in the area of SE 9th /
Ponce - made contact with the homeless, B/M subject
who was a possible mental health consumer advising he was coming to “visit his old neighborhood” among other things. Was provided a courtesy ride per his request. No report, 19-169852.
1755: Assisted with vehicle crash at Ponce De Leon Dr / S Federal Hwy - PSA handled, case #
19-169876.
1830: Back in service. Roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, Fed Hwy corridor, 11 CT
alleyway.
2000: Assist with another vehicle crash (one totalled) at SE 8th ST / S. Federal Hwy - PSA
handled, case # 19-169928.
2100: Out of service.

0812- responded with patrol reference gentleman fishing from the bridge, fisherman had no license with him and he was asked to leave, back on patrol,

1815: In service, detail called into Hudson line. There are no new emails or text messages but,
one missed phone call - on callback, was a telemarketer line. Reviewed activity log and began roving patrol.
1915: Roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, Fed Hwy corridor, and 11 Ct alleyway.
1920: Received phone call from resident advising that $300 worth of
Halloween decorations were stolen out of his front yard sometime today between
0730-1800. Resident advised he would review possible video footage and speak with neighbors/potential witnesses before filing PD report.
2015: Still roving, all quiet.
