0600- 10-8, I left a message with Carol. There was one new text that has been added to the out of town list. No new emails, or texts. I reviewed the activity log.
0630- Patrol of the business district along South Federal Highway.
0700- school bus stop patrol.
0745- House checks complete, all appear to be secure.
0810- I conducted enforcement for speed and one way violations along 11Ct. Everybody was very well behaved. I was not even able to issue a verbal or written. :(
0910- Patrol of isles, bridges, and LYC..
0930- Patrol of Rio mainland and parks.
0945- Final rounds.
1815: In service, detail called into Hudson line. One email for out of town check added to log.
Missed phone call for extra watch during hours during funeral get together. Resident also requested funeral escort information - consulted with Capt. Scelfo and advised.
1845: Shuffled around pAve & Rio car to 1000 blk of SE 11th Ct for speeder deterrence.
1915: Roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, Fed Hwy, LYC with cruise and alley lights on.
2015: Still roving...getting cool outside.
2115: Out of service.
2220- Called into the Hudson line. No messages. Began patrolling the corridors. Quiet evening
2300- Continued patrolling the corridors. Very few cars on the roadway.
0000– Checked LYC and it was all clear. No movement
0100- checked the corridors again. No suspicious vehicles observed.
0220- Secured for the evening.

1115- in service, detail called in, 1 new message 1 vacation check added, beginning patrol, sat with motor unit 1100 block SE 11 Ct reference speeders,
1315- still on patrol, light traffic

1100- conducting high visibility patrol, followed the fedex and UPS delivery vehicles around,

1600- In service, I called and left a message with Carol. I reviewed the activity log. No new messages left on the phone.
1630- Patrolled the isles, bridges and yacht club.
1700- Patrolled the mainland and parks. Also monitored speed on SE 11 CT. No violators.
1730- Patrolled the businesses along S. Federal Hwy.

Friday, 21 December 2018
2145- In service, detail called in. No new texts or calls on the Rio phone. One new email to inform us that our Android phone has been updated with the new Google Assistant! Patrols began of mainland and isles.
2330- Continued high visibility of mainland and isles all clear. LYC all clear. Minimal vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
0030- All patrols clear
0115- LYC all clear. Little to no vehicular traffic in the HOA and no pedestrian traffic to observe.
0145- Contact was made with a female along with patrol behind the RVCC. The female was seated near the playground, and it was determined that she was intoxicated and dropped off by her Uber at the wrong location. She left on her own accord.
0215- Patrols of the HOA all clear.
0300- Final patrol of HOA and LYC all clear. Met with security at LYC and he advised all clear.. Email received in reference to being out of town. Log updated

Thursday December 27th, 2018
1000: Detail called into Hudson. Motorist flagged me down advising of numerous cars at
Starbucks making illegal turns and causing traffic jam. Responded to the area for visibility and conducted traffic stop on small white vehicle for illegal turn - Fl tag > Rio resident > verbal warning.
1030: Reviewed activity log and returned numerous missed calls and emails . numerous out of
town checks added. Began out of town checks.
: package moved to rear.
1130: Prop check - unsecure door > tripped alarm. Searched residence but,
everything ok. Alarm was received and I canceled it, case # 18-207713. Phoned owner and secured residence w/ spare key.
1245: Out of town checks complete. Return to station for fuel; 13.25 gallons
1315: Back in Rio. Roving patrol.
1430: Out of service.
Friday, December 28 2018
1030- In service, Started the shift by being yelled at by a neighbor about the marked unit being parked on the swale. She was complaining because she is trying to grow the grass there. I will park the vehicle across the street at the vacant lot when I’m done with my shift. One new email.
1100- Started out of town checks.
1230- I completed vacation checks. I moved envelope that was in front of the front door and placed it by the back door. moved amazon package from front door and put it next to the back door.
1300- Final patrol of mainland and isles.
1330- Out of service.
2015- In service, detail called in. Review of logs, and upon arrival I too was “addressed” about the vehicle by the resident. I explained that it was there to deter speeding vehicles that were causing a safety issue. The larger issue was now that the resident had difficulty seeing traffic coming east on 11th Ct. I was also asked to move my vehicle as well. In an effort to move things along, I parked my unmarked vehicle at the home for sale across the street. I will park the marked vehicle on the swale in front of the for sale home. Patrols were conducted of the HOA area with nothing to report. LYC all clear
2130- Responded to an alarm S Federal Highway. Alarm was checked and business was secure. I then received a call from the resident in reference to 50-60 bicycles in the area. Contact was made with patrol Sgt who advised this was an issue from earlier in the shift and addressed accordingly.
2200- Assisted patrol as a back up at Davie and S Fed in reference to a hit and run accident where the suspect was located less than a block away on foot. Incident was handled by patrol.
2300- Continued high visibility patrols, all clear
2345- Continued patrols all clear, LYC all clear
0045- Patrols all clear. No pedestrian traffic and virtually no vehicular traffic in the area.
0130- All clear
0245- Final patrol, all clear. Out of service.
Saturday, December 29th 2018
1300- 10-8 called in detail; reviewed previous log. I parked my unit across the street in front of the vacant lot. I will be moving the Rio car to the same spot after shift
